What if the judgment debt is paid but not the interest?

The interest remains as a debt. You can use an enforcement method to pursue the remaining amount or decide not to pursue the interest.

The judgment debtor needs you to verify they have paid the debt to have it removed from the register of County Court Judgments (CCJ), so for 6 years it remains on the register as unpaid if the interest part of the award is not paid.
